Surveying the New Pad

No... no...no... The Koala is not attempting to make a dash for freedom and hitchike his way back to Australia. He is just surveying our new pad. See that double storey house with the red roof to his left? That is where I am about to start a little something afterschool. I will be spending this Raya holidays getting things started. We cleaned the house a week ago. I will post more pictures soon.

God loves me so much... It is so obvious now!

Introducing Master MG

Here's little MG who shares the same boofday as me. Accompanied by his Mum, he came to stay with us for a few days and will return to his home tomorrow.

The photo was taken when he was 2 months and 1 day old. He is now just a little over 4 kgs - still very small. He is soooo lean that there isn't much for us to pinch. He has a great appetite though and the good news is MG is a breastfed baby. I am so glad that his Mum is continuing to do that.

I look forward to him visiting us again soon. I will blog about his development here.

Ta Da

Is that a limited edition blue Speak and Spell? Do you know what is a Speak and Spell? I am old enough to have one as a kid. LOL!

No, that is not a 2014 edition of Speak and Spell. That is my new iPad Air wearing a blue lifejacket. So that is the gadget my Mum bought me for my birthday. I was so busy in May that I didn't buy it until the 28th of May and I had been so lazy lately that I only got around to telling the world about it now. Well, I did try to post this on Thursday but Blogger was a little funny that night. It simply didn't let me upload anything.

I had wanted to buy the iPad from Technocrats @ Suria but my Mum who came along chucked a hissy fit when we were there. I was so embarrassed. Luckily I was clueless about internet options and had to go ask Digi. In the end we ended up getting one from another shop that is less flashy. It wasn't complete love at first sight. The first few days got me thinking that we bought a dud/lemon. Thus the poor thing has a very interesting name.

I actually bought his lifejacket back in April when there was a promotion at Technocrats. I think he looks cute in it. The reason that I picked the lifejacket is because the gadget is used as a teaching tool and kids are unpredictable. So far the kids have treated it with respect. They love the aps that I have downloaded for them.

Before I went to China last year, my Mum bought me a fancy looking Sony nex 5t camera to replace my first digital camera that I brought home from Melbourne. I never blogged about it because I love my old camera very much and I felt sad that I had to move on. The Sony camera takes good photos and it is loaded with plenty of features.

The next gadget I am looking to get is a proper phone. That will have to wait till Christmas. I heard that there will be an iPhone 6 soon but iPhones have such small screens! There are so many phones out there. I really don't know what to get. Another thing that I wish to get by this time next year would be a new laptop - my very own. Now that I am a firm friend of my iPad and looking to get an iPhone, I think that I might make the move to get myself a Macbook Pro but did you see the price???? OMG!!! I might end up with a Dell. Nevertheless, I will be superhappy to have my own laptop.
