I Love You Australia

Happy Australia Day everyone.

Australia Day was usually spent at the park (Kings Domain Gardens) checking out old cars on display and planes flying past. A visit to the Government House was also a highlight and so was scoring a barbecued sausage served on a slice of buttered bread....better still if they added some onions.

In the evening, we usually eat lamb served with roasted vegetables and potatoes. The building would usually be packed with guests as everyone waited for the big fireworks. The fireworks on Australia Day was best viewed from our bedroom than from the main balcony.

All that fun is now history. I hope to have all that again soon.
