When I got up this morning, I was hoping that 'Lady' would be outside nursing her little one. She was however nowhere to be found. I did notice that the foodbowl was empty and I was hopeful that she had her share. I checked throughout the day and the reality set in... 'Lady' is gone. She probably got run over.
The little one lazed around all day. I think that it is a female and I still don't have a name for it. She has become quite playful overnight. Everytime I step out of the house, she would chase me. Without cuddles from her Mum, she has begun to turn her attention to us (my brother and I). I don't feel very comfortable around her because I find her wound quite scary. According to my brother, the wound is healed except that the skin will not regrow, thus exposing part of her skull. My brother reckoned that she looks like a Terminator Cat! May be we should call her Sarah.
I hope that 'Lady' is fine wherever she is. May be she is in heaven, in an area designated for animals. May be she saw my little Guinea Pig and just may be he told her that her little one is safe with us. I wouldn't say safe. She would be safer here but definitely no absolute safety guaranteed. This is not Melbourne... This is a horrible place to be a pet of any form.
This poor kitty loves me. Right now she is seated on the window next to me. She is outside though. We are separated by the mozzie screen. Because she is not toilet trained, she is not allowed inside. How does one toilet train a cat? My Guinea Pig used to deposit his poos in a chosen corner of his cage. The pellets tend to build up in one area. I noticed that Catsan is available in KK but do I have to do anything for this kitty to start using it? Cats are very independent. Unlike dogs, they love to do their own things their way...
